Aceleron

Problem:
Aceleron, an innovative clean technology company, had achieved significant growth and success in their mission to change the world of batteries. However, with this growth came new challenges in terms of maintaining a clear and cohesive strategy. The company’s leadership team recognized that they needed help to re-focus their strategy, set clear goals, and ensure that everyone in the organization was aligned around achieving them.

Solution:
To address these challenges, Aceleron engaged Incrementa to provide strategic planning and coaching support. We began by working with the leadership team to define a clear, compelling vision for the company’s future. Using our Prosper Plan tool, we helped them to identify one wildly important goal that would drive the company’s growth and success over the next two years. We then worked collaboratively to break down this goal into specific, measurable objectives that were aligned with the company’s overall mission and values.

Once the objectives were established, we helped the leadership team to create a RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed) document to define each individual’s role in achieving the objectives. This document provided clarity on who was responsible for specific tasks and decisions, and helped to ensure that everyone in the organization was aligned around the same goals.

Odin Vision

Problem:
Odin Vision, an award-winning AI medical imagery organization, was struggling to define clear and measurable goals and objectives. The founder and staff were always busy, but they lacked a clear plan and direction, resulting in a reactive rather than strategic approach. They needed an external perspective to help them focus on what really mattered and define a single, wildly important goal.

Solution:
Odin Vision hired Incrementa to help them develop a clear and focused path for growth. We began by working with the founder and senior management to identify their primary objective and ensure that it aligned with the overall business strategy. We then utilized our RACI template to define the roles and responsibilities for each team member, including who was responsible, accountable, consulted, and informed for each task.

We collaborated with the department heads to develop clear objectives and actions for each department, with specific deadlines and resource allocations. Our team also worked closely with the staff to ensure that they understood their roles and the importance of their contributions to the overall business strategy. Paragraf

Problem:
Paragraf, an innovative materials science company specializing in graphene-based technologies, was finalizing their Series B investment round and needed a comprehensive two-year strategy to achieve their growth targets. However, they were struggling to find the time and resources to develop a winning strategy and sought an outside perspective to guide them through the process.

Solution:
Paragraf engaged Incrementa to develop a tailored strategy that would drive growth and help them to achieve the targets and outcomes expected of them from their investors. We utilized specific tools and techniques, such as our Prosper Plan and one-page strategy document, and closely liaised with senior executives to develop a comprehensive and actionable 2-year global expansion strategy. By liaising with the senior executive and other key stakeholders, we developed a two-year Series B strategy that included identifying target markets, developing a product roadmap, creating a sales and marketing plan, and projecting financials.  We then converted this into actionable Objectives and Key Results for years 1 and 2 ensuring that each department had specific measurable goals

Potter Learoyd

Problem:
Potter Learoyd, a long-term client of our consulting firm, was repositioning itself from smaller instructions to focus on larger instructions with more significant clients. Although they had early success in securing larger land and warehouse instructions, their website and marketing needed updating to represent the organization in the best way possible to these new, more established clients.

Solution:
Our consulting firm worked with Potter Learoyd to create a brief for the project that reflected the need to reposition the organization, using a different tone of voice in their marketing, a more innovative approach, and better imagery. We recognized that a new website would be essential to highlight Potter Learoyd to their new potential client base in the best possible way. We then worked with an external web agency and project-managed the creation of a new site to ensure that the end result met our client’s needs.

Our consulting firm worked closely with Potter Learoyd throughout the project to ensure that their vision and goals were reflected in the final product. We provided guidance and support to the web agency, helping to ensure that the website had the necessary functionality, design, and user experience to appeal to the new target client base.

Outcome:

The website incorporated a different tone of voice and more innovative approach, as well as better imagery that reflected the organization’s new positioning. Slamcore

Problem:
Slamcore, an innovative spatial intelligence start-up, was experiencing significant growth but was struggling to create a meaningful strategy to define their objectives and goals. The new senior leadership team was overwhelmed and needed help to focus on the most important priorities.

Solution:
Incrementa came in to help the senior leadership team define a clear goal that would guide their growth strategy. We used our Prosper Plan and RACI document to help break down the goal into smaller objectives and actions that would lead to its achievement. We also worked with them to create lead measures that they could monitor to predict the achievement of their overall goal. With our support, Slamcore was able to develop a clear and actionable plan with defined roles and responsibilities for each objective and action.

Outcome:

VOID Technologies

Problem:
VOID is a materials science company that works towards accelerating the transition to more sustainable plastics and packaging. However, as the company grew, it lost sight of its ultimate goal and became unfocused, frequently changing direction in response to commercial opportunities.

Solution:
In order to help VOID realign with their goal and become more focused, Incrementa provided monthly support to the senior leadership team. The focus was on specific elements of strategic goals, as well as accountability and responsibility of the senior leadership team. Incrementa also introduced a Prosper plan which focused on one wildly important goal that was then broken down into easily digestible objectives. Finally, responsibilities and accountabilities were clearly defined to provide clarity.

Outcome:
The result of the work that Incrementa did with VOID was a company that was aligned towards one goal. This allowed them to achieve more, quicker, and led to an eventual successful Series A raise. Thanks to the new focus and clarity, VOID was able to get back on track and achieve the success they had been striving for.
